Online Platform for Issuance of Certificate of Origin
- The commerce ministry has designed an online platform for issuance of Certificate Of Origin (CoO), with a view to facilitate shipments during the COVID-19 crisis.
- The platform has been designed as a single-point access for all Free Trade Agreements (FTAs)/Preferential Trade Agreements (PTAs), for all designated CoOissuing agencies and for all export products.
- The Online Platform for Preferential Certificate of Origin is being further expanded to take up various other FTAs/PTAs including – AIFTA, IJCEPA, SAPTA, SAFTA, APTA, ISLFTA.

- The facility will reduce the transaction time and cost of exporters also.
