Section 142 of the Code on Social Security Notified
- Section 142 of the Social Security Code, 2020 has been notified by Ministry of Labour & Employment covering applicability of Aaadhar.
- The notification of section will enable Ministry of Labour and Employment to collect Aaadhar details for the database of beneficiaries under various social security schemes.
- As per Section 142 of the SS Code any employee, unorganized worker, or any other person shall establish their identity or identity of their family members / dependents, through Aadhaar number for registration and availing the benefits contemplated under the SS Code.
