Maharashtra Second State to get ICJS
Maharashtra is set to become the second State to implement the Central government’s Interoperable Criminal Justice System (ICJS), which will act as a common platform for all government agencies to share data about prisoners across the State.
- The project, funded by the Centre, will help the government in better digital coordination and sharing of crucial information related to criminal case investigations, and will also maintain transparency in the process.
