Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor
- Rajasthan government has planned two special investment regions along the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) to generate developmental opportunities for the State.
- The move is set to give a boost to investments, employment generation and development of the State with its construction work being expedited.
About Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor(DMIC)
- It is one of the projects under the National Industrial Corridor Development Programme.
- It was launched in pursuance of an MOU signed between the Government of India and the Government of Japan in December 2006.
