ESA’s ClearSpace-1 Mission
The European Space Agency (ESA) is planning a clean-up of the Earth’s orbit with its ClearSpace-1 Mission. The mission will be carried out by ESA in association with a consortium led by ClearSpace- a Swiss startup established by a team of space debris researchers.
ClearSpace-1 Mission
- Planned for launch in 2025, ClearSpace-1 will be the first space mission to remove debris from orbit.
- The purpose of the mission is to contribute to cleaning up of space and also demonstrating the technologies needed for removal of debris.
