DRDO Conducts Successful Trials of BrahMos Missile
On 17th December, India conducted the trials of two variants of supersonic cruise missile BrahMos. The trials, meant to check the capability of the missile to hit targets with precision and accuracy, met all parameters and were successful.
- The land-attack version of the missile was test-fired from a mobile autonomous launcher at the Integrated Test Range (ITR) at Chandipur, Odisha, whereas its air force variant was fired to hit an air-borne target over the Bay of Bengal from Kalaikunda airbase in West Bengal.
