91st Interpol General Assembly to be Hosted by India
On 18th October, 2019, during the annual meeting of Interpol in Chile, it was decided that India will host the 91st International Criminal Police Organisation (Interpol) General Assembly in 2022 as part of celebrations of the 75th anniversary of Indian Independence.

- The Interpol is a 194-member intergovernmental organization headquartered in Lyon, France. It was formed in 1923 as the International Criminal Police Commission and started calling itself Interpol in 1956. India joined the Interpol in 1949.
