Dihing Patkai National Park Inaugurated
On 3rd July, 2021, the newly notified Dihing Patkai National Park was formally inaugurated.
- In June 2021, Assam government notified Dihing Patkai as the state’s 7th National Park. The notification came within a few days after the government upgraded the Raimona reserve forest to a National Park (the 6th National Park of Assam).
