US-Iran Stand-off Escalates

  • International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has reported that Iran is now producing more enriched uranium than before, but it is not clear when it might reach stockpile limits set in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). Also, Iran on 20 June 2019 shot down a U.S. spy drone near the strategic Strait of Hormuz.
