Isro's First Mission of 2021
- The Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) launched 19 satellites, including Brazil’s Amazonia-1, into space in what was the first lift-off of the year for the space agency.
- The first launch of 2021 took place on the day (28 February, National Science Day) when Sir CV Raman announced his revolutionary discovery of the 'Raman effect' in 1928.
