Defence Expo 2020: Fostering Synergies in Defence Sector
DefExpo 2020- the 11th edition of India’s biennial mega defence exhibition- was organized from 5th to 9th February in Lucknow. Conceptualised in 1998 by the Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence, the first DefExpowas held in 1999. Over the years, it has transformed into an internationally recognised defence exhibition.
DefExpo 2020
- The theme of DefExpo 2020 was ‘India: The Emerging Defence Manufacturing Hub’ and the focus was on ‘Digital Transformation of Defence’.
- Apart from ensuring participation of numerous global defence related entities, it showcased India’s military might and technological innovations.
