SANKALP

  • Skills Acquisition and Knowledge Awareness for Livelihood Promotion (SANKALP) project aims to implement the mandate of the National Skill Development Mission (NSDM), which was launched on 15th July, 2018 by Ministry of Skill Development through its core sub-missions.
  • The project will be implemented in mission mode through World Bank support.
  • The project was made effective in January 2018 with 28 States and 7 UTs across the country having submitted their consent for participating in SANKALP.
  • To promote decentralized planning, “Award for excellence in District Skill Development Planning (DSDP)” has been launched under SANKALP.
