Prime Minister’s Internship Scheme (PMIS) App

On 17th March 2025, Finance Minister launched a dedicated mobile app for the Prime Minister’s Internship Scheme (PMIS) today, aiming to simplify registration and boost participation.

  • The app will enable easier registration for the second round of PMIS applications, which remain open until March 31.
  • It aims to overcome limited computer access by leveraging widespread smartphone usage, providing a more user-friendly alternative.
  • Alongside the app launch, a dedicated facilitation centre for PMIS will be set up in Kolkata to support applicants.
  • The facilitation centre is a joint initiative by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
  • The initiative is expected to improve accessibility, allowing more young aspirants to benefit from internship opportunities under the scheme.
