Centre Launches ‘Global Tariff and Trade Helpdesk’

On 11th April 2025, the Centre operationalised a dedicated ‘Global Tariff and Trade Helpdesk’ to support exporters and importers in resolving emerging trade-related issues.

The Helpdesk will address challenges such as import surges, dumping, logistics and supply chain disruptions, financial hurdles, and compliance or regulatory barriers.
It will serve as a single-window platform to gather trade-related concerns across Ministries, Departments, and State Governments, ensuring better coordination and issue resolution.
Export-Import stakeholders can submit their issues via the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) website, email (dgftedi@nic.in with subject: Global Tariff and Trade Helpdesk), or call the toll-free number 1800-111-550.
The Department of Commerce and DGFT are closely monitoring global trade developments, especially tariff shifts and export-import disruptions.
