Fourth National Chief Secretaries' Conference

On 15th December 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired the fourth National Conference of Chief Secretaries in New Delhi, focusing on strengthening cooperative federalism and aligning state and central efforts for growth.

The three-day conference aims to create a unified development agenda and foster collaboration between the Centre and States.
The theme of the conference is ‘Promoting Entrepreneurship, Employment and Skilling – Leveraging the Demographic Dividend.’
The conference highlights six priority areas: Manufacturing, Services, Rural Non-farm Economy, Urban Development, Renewable Energy, and Circular Economy.
Chief Secretaries, senior officials from all States and Union Territories, and domain experts are participating in the deliberations.
Best practices and strategies for economic growth and employment generation are being shared to guide States and Union Territories.
