Ronak Dahiya

On 21st August, 2024, Ronak Dahiya secured a bronze medal in the U17 World Wrestling Championship, while three Indian women wrestlers advanced to the semifinals in their respective categories.

Ronak Dahiya claimed India’s first medal of the championship by defeating Turkey’s Emrullah Capkan 6-1 in the 110kg Greco-Roman bronze medal play-off.
Despite his strong performance, Ronak lost in the semifinals to Hungary’s Zoltan Czako, who later earned the silver medal.
Aditi Kumari impressed in the 43kg category, defeating Ukraine's Karolina Shperyk 10-0 and Egypt's Marriem Mohamed Abdelaal 4-2 to reach the semifinals against Aleksandra Berezovskaia.
In the 57kg category, Neha advanced to the semifinals without conceding a single point, defeating Greece’s Mairi Mani and Georgia’s Miranda Kapanadze. She will face Kazakhstan's Anna Stratan next.
