SWADHAR Greh (A Scheme for Women in Difficult Circumstances)

It was launched in 2015 with the objective of aiding women victims of difficult circumstances who are in need of institutional support for rehabilitation so that they could lead their life with dignity. There are more than 600 SWADHAR Grehs in the country.

• The Scheme envisages providing shelter, food, clothing and health as well as economic and social security for these women via SWADHAR Greh which is to be setup in every district having capacity of 30 persons.
• Any women above 18 faced with difficult circumstances like domestic violence, lack of economic support, victim of sex trafficking, etc. could avail benefits under ....
