UNESCO’S Creative Cities Network Includes Mumbai and Hyderabad
Mumbai and Hyderabad were included in the UNESCO’s Creative Cities Network. Mumbai has been designated as Creative City of Films and Hyderabad a Creative City of Gastronomy. The other Indian cities which are part of the network are, Chennai, Varanasi and Jaipur.
UNESCO’s Creative Cities Network
- It was started in 2004 to promote cooperation with and among cities that have identified creativity as a strategic factor for sustainable urban development.
