Important Jhanki’s of Republic Day Parade

  • India celebrated its 71st Republic Day with Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro as the Chief Guest.
  • 22 tableaux comprising of 16 States/UTs and 6 Ministries/Departments were presented at the parade.
  • Assam won first prize, followed by Odisha and Uttar Pradesh jointly sharing the second spot.
  • The tableaux of National Disaster Relief Force and Jal Shakti Mission were chosen as the best among the Ministries and Departments.
