Centre Launches White Revolution 2.0
On 19th September 2024, Ministry of Cooperation launched ‘White Revolution 2.0’, aimed at boosting India’s dairy sector.

Key Details
Multipurpose Primary Agricultural Credit Cooperative Societies
- It is being launched with financial assistance to 1,000 Multipurpose Primary Agricultural Credit Cooperative Societies (MPACSs).
Project Strategy
- To achieve the objective envisaged under White Revolution 2.0, cooperative milk procurement is required to increase by about 9 per cent per annum as against the present annual growth of 6 per cent.
