Vertical Farming and Hydroponics: Future Urban Agriculture
- The technique of growing plants in water without soil using a solution of mineral fertilizers is called 'hydroponics'.
- Plants can be grown in vertical layers or on inclined surfaces in hydroponics based vertical farming.
