e-Cabinet System
In September 2023, the Chief Minister of Tripura launched an e-cabinet system at Agartala to promote digital infrastructure development and digitisation of government services and information.
- The E-Cabinet is a robust software portal enabling State Governments to conduct Cabinet meetings electronically and online.
- It is developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC) under the Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY)
- It facilitates efficient decision-making processes.
- Tripura is the fourth state, and the second in the Northeast, to adopt e-Cabinet System after Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Arunachal Pradesh.
