Institutions’ Right to Government Aid

The right of an institution to government aid is not a basic right, according to SC.

The remark was made in a ruling in which the Supreme Court supported the Uttar Pradesh government's 2010 policy decision to outsource the selection of Class IV personnel in all state-run and aided institutions and schools.
