Arogya Manthan event was organised by the National Health Authority, to mark the completion of one year of Ayushman Bharat Yojana.
About Ayushman Bharat
- Launched in September 2018 (based on the National Health Policy 2017), the initiative aims at holistically addressing health (covering prevention, promotion and ambulatory care), at primary, secondary and tertiary level.
- The scheme follows a continuum care approach as it consists of two inter-related components i.e., Health and Wellness Centres (HWCs) and Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY)

- The world’s largest health insurance/ assurance scheme fully financed by the government.
