iDEX-Prime and DISC 6 Launched during DefConnect 2.0
On 22nd April, 2022, during the one-day DefConnect 2.0 organised by the Department of Defence Production (DDP), Ministry of Defence, the Innovations for Defence Excellence-Prime (iDEX-Prime) and sixth Defence India Start-up Challenge (DISC 6) were launched.
About DefConnect 2.0
- Purpose: To bring together start-ups, big companies and armed forces personnel to boost indigenous innovation in the defence sector.
- DefConnect 2.0 serves as a symbol of increasing technological prowess of the country and a celebration of the continuous growth of the Indian defense start-up ecosystem.
