Article 105 of Constitution: The Limits to Free Speech in Parliament

On 10th February, 2023, Rajya Sabha Chairman received a letter from the Congress President on Article 105 of the Constitution that deals with the privileges and powers of parliamentarians.

About Article 105

  • It deals with powers, privileges, etc. of the Houses of Parliament and of the members and committees.
  • Article 194 deals with the same in the case of state legislatures, their members and committees.
