Gandhi Circuit
- Project for “Development of Gandhi Circuit: Bhitiharwa-Chandrahia-Turkaulia” has been sanctioned in Bihar.
- Development of Gandhi Circuit in Bihar is a part of the commemoration of 100 years ofChamparan Satyagraha in 2017-18. The project is a part of “Rural Circuit theme ofSwadesh Darshan Scheme”.
- Chandrahia is a village in Bihar’s East Champaran district where Gandhiji was stopped when he was on his way to the hamlet of Jasaulipatti to listen to problems faced by farmers during Champaran Satyagraha.
- Bhitiharwa was a centre for social work selected by Gandhiji during Champaran Satyagraha in 1917 and there exists a Gandhi ashram where Gandhiji stayed during freedom ....
