ZEVTC Ministerial Dialogue and Launch of e-AMRIT Portal
On 10th November, 2021, on the eve of Transport Day at the 26th Conference of the Parties (COP 26) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), India (represented by NITI Aayog) participated in the fourth ministerial dialogue of the Zero Emission Vehicle Transition Council (ZEVTC).
On the same day, the government also launched the e-AMRIT portal on electric vehicles (EVs) - a one-stop destination on all electric vehicles-related information.
Key Highlights of the Dialogue
- Several stakeholders made the declaration to actively work towards the proliferation and adoption of zero emission vehicles.
