Global Partnership on AI Adopts 'New Delhi Declaration'
On 13th December, 2023, representatives from 28 countries and the European Union concluded the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) summit in New Delhi by adopting the 'New Delhi Declaration.'
- India, the host, is set to chair the GPAI grouping in 2024, and the ministerial declaration emphasizes the commitment to responsible AI development rooted in democratic values and human rights.
GPAI's Mission and Inclusivity
- GPAI, consisting of countries from North and South America, Europe, and East Asia, focuses on trustworthy AI development, deployment, and use.
- The summit aims to make AI benefits accessible to all, including countries in the Global South. ....
