Reasons for Rise of Militant Nationalism

Militant nationalist activity started emerging in 1890s and took concrete shape by 1905.

  • Leaders: By the end of twentieth century, a band of nationalist leaders emerged who advocated a more militant approach. They were Raj Narain Bose, Ashwini Kumar Dutta, Aurobindo Ghosh, Bipin Chandra Pal, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Lala Lajpat Rai.
