New Rules Granting Maternity and Paternity Leave for Surrogacy
On 18th June, 2024, the Centre amended the Central Civil Services (Leave) Rules, 1972, to allow women government employees 180 days of maternity leave and 15 days of paternity leave for children born through surrogacy.
