Shankaracharya Jayanti Celebrated in Kashmir
- Shankaracharya Jayanti was celebrated at Jyeshta Mata Mandir, Shankaracharya Hills, Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, from 3rd – 9th May, 2019.
- Pandits of Kashmir performed Suvasini Puja on this occasion.
- On the instructions of the Kanchi Acharyas, Shankaracharya Jayanti is being celebrated on Shankaracharya Hills since 2012. This year, a 150-member team left with the blessings of the Kanchi Kamakoti Pitam, to conduct Acharya’s Jayanti.
