UN Convention on Biological Diversity: 15th Conference of Parties
Recently, the “Kunming Declaration” was adopted by over 100 countries during the first part of the virtual 15th Conference of the Parties (COP-15) to the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity (UNCBD) held in Kunming, China.
- The theme of the conference was “Ecological Civilization: Building a Shared Future for All Life on Earth”.

- Mainstreaming Biodiversity Protection: The parties to the convention were called upon to “mainstream” biodiversity protection in decision-making and recognise the importance of conservation in protecting human health.
