Relevancy in Prelims Kaiga 1 Nuclear Reactor: On December 31st, 2018, India’s indigenously designed pressurized heavy water reactor (PHWR), 220-MW Kaiga 1 nuclear power plant, became a world record holder for running 962 unbroken days.
