India Joins Desert Flag-10 in UAE

On 20th April 2025, a contingent of the Indian Air Force arrived at Al Dhafra Air Base in the United Arab Emirates to take part in Exercise Desert Flag-10 (21st April-8th May), a multinational air combat exercise hosted by the UAE Air Force.
- The Indian Air Force is participating alongside air forces from eleven other nations.
- Exercise Desert Flag-10 aims to strengthen multinational cooperation by conducting complex air combat operations and enhancing interoperability among some of the world’s most advanced air forces.
- The Indian contingent's participation highlights India’s growing defence diplomacy and its strategic intent to collaborate with global partners in high-intensity training environments.
- The exercise provides a platform for the Indian Air Force to exchange operational knowledge and best practices with elite air forces operating in diverse combat scenarios.
- Through joint missions, the exercise will simulate real-time combat conditions and promote an understanding of each nation’s tactical strengths and capabilities.
