In April 2025, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has been ranked 97th in the World’s Best Hospitals 2024 list by Newsweek and Statista, recognizing its excellence in healthcare and research.

The global ranking assessed more than 2,400 hospitals across 30 countries based on key parameters like clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, hygiene, and expert recommendations.

A private hospital based in Gurgaon achieved the 146th rank, reflecting the emergence of high-quality private healthcare in India.
