Rajiv Gauba

On 25th March 2025, Rajiv Gauba has been appointed as a full-time member of NITI Aayog.

A seasoned bureaucrat, he brings decades of administrative experience to India’s top policy think tank.
Previously served as Union Home Secretary, Secretary in the Ministry of Urban Development, and Chief Secretary of Jharkhand.
His appointment has been sanctioned by the Prime Minister under the same terms as other full-time members of NITI Aayog.
Expected to continue shaping India's policy landscape through strategic decision-making at NITI Aayog.
