RBI Wins Digital Transformation Award 2025

On 15th March 2025, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) was awarded the Digital Transformation Award 2025 by Central Banking in London for its innovative digital initiatives, Pravaah and Sarthi.

The award recognizes RBI’s efforts in reducing paper-based processes and enhancing efficiency through in-house digital solutions.
Sarthi, launched in January 2023, digitized RBI’s internal workflows, enabling secure document storage, improved record management, and advanced data analysis.
The system enhances collaboration by integrating with other RBI departments, replacing fragmented manual and digital processes with a unified database.
Pravaah, introduced in May 2024, provides a streamlined digital platform for external users to submit regulatory applications to RBI.
The Pravaah portal integrates with Sarthi, ensuring digital handling of documents, centralized cybersecurity, and enhanced tracking.
