- Prime Minister Modi described the festival as a significant cultural event that has successfully upheld India’s artistic and spiritual traditions over the past 25 years.
- He highlighted the festival’s ability to unite people through music and poetry, reinforcing the deep-rooted influence of Sufi culture in India.
- Before addressing the gathering, PM explored TEH Bazaar, an exhibition of handcrafted artifacts and One District-One Product crafts, calling it a culturally enriching experience.
- Acknowledging the contributions of Aga Khan in restoring Sunder Nursery, where the festival is being held, Modi praised the efforts to preserve India’s architectural and artistic heritage.
- The Jahan-e-Khusrau festival, founded by filmmaker Muzaffar Ali in 2001, has become a globally recognized platform for Sufi music, bringing together artists from across the world.
