​India-Egypt Joint Military Exercise

The third edition of the Cyclone joint military exercise between India and Egypt is being conducted at the Mahajan Field Firing Range in Rajasthan from February 12 to 23 2025.

• The annual military exercise, held alternately in India and Egypt, aims to strengthen military ties and enhance cooperation in special warfare operations.
• This year’s edition involves 25 military personnel from each country, focusing on joint planning and tactical exercises to improve interoperability.
• The training includes demonstrations of indigenous military equipment and an assessment of Egypt’s defense manufacturing capabilities.
• Troops will engage in mutual exchange of tactics, techniques, and operational procedures, emphasizing counter-terrorism and strategic combat training.
• The previous edition of Cyclone was held in Egypt in January 2023, marking the continued commitment of both nations to military collaboration.
