PM Inaugurates ‘Utkarsh Odisha’ Summit

On 27th January 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the ‘Utkarsh Odisha, Make-in-Odisha Conclave’ in Bhubaneswar, marking a pivotal step toward industrial and economic transformation in Odisha.

The ‘Utkarsh Odisha’ Global Investment Summit aims to establish Odisha as a premier investment hub and a core player in the Purvodaya vision for Eastern India's development.
The Odisha government targets investments worth over ₹5 lakh crore, with an expected job creation of 3.5 lakh opportunities through this two-day conclave.
The state aims to secure its position among India's top five economic states by 2036 through robust industrial infrastructure and policy reforms.
Over 7,000 delegates, including representatives from 12 countries, attended the event, showcasing global interest in Odisha’s industrial growth potential.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi praised Prime Minister Modi for his developmental focus on Odisha, highlighting that this was his fifth visit in seven months, each bringing transformative initiatives.
