Jay Shah Joins MCC's New Cricket Advisory Board

On 24th January 2025, Jay Shah, ICC chairman and former BCCI secretary, has been elected to the Marylebone Cricket Club’s (MCC) newly formed World Cricket Connects Advisory Board.

• The World Cricket Connects Advisory Board comprises 13 founding members, chaired by former Sri Lankan captain Kumar Sangakkara.
• Prominent members include Sourav Ganguly, Graeme Smith, Andrew Strauss, Heather Knight, and Sanjog Gupta, alongside Jay Shah.
• The advisory board replaces the World Cricket Committee, established in 2006, which held its final meeting last summer.
• The second World Cricket Connects forum is scheduled for June 7-8, 2025, at Lord’s, just before the World Test Championship final between Australia and South Africa.
