India Shines at ArabPlast 2025 in Dubai

On 8th January 2025, the 17th ArabPlast trade exhibition in Dubai highlights India’s growing prominence in sustainable manufacturing and global plastic trade.

ArabPlast 2025, a premier plastics and petrochemicals trade event, features over 750 exhibitors across 12 international pavilions, showcasing innovations in recycling, packaging, and rubber industries.
India’s delegation of 125 companies, led by PLEXCONCIL, marks a 70% increase from the last edition, reflecting its expanding focus on sustainability and the circular economy.
The Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) is expected to boost Indo-UAE trade, with Indian plastic exports to the UAE valued at $620 million and aiming for a $9 billion market.
In 2023, West Asia imported $30 billion worth of plastics, with India contributing only $1.5 billion, emphasizing its potential for growth in the region.
