18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Begins in Odisha

On 8th January 2025, the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas convention commenced in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, celebrating the contributions of the Indian diaspora to India's progress and global stature.

Over 6,000 Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) from 75 countries are participating in the convention.
The event showcases Odisha’s rich culture and heritage to international delegates.
President of Trinidad and Tobago Christine Carla Kangaloo will virtually participate as the chief guest, adding global significance to the event.
President Droupadi Murmu will preside over the valedictory session and confer the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman awards to distinguished members of the Indian diaspora.
