NICDC’s UAE Roadshow to Boost Industrial Ties

On 6th January 2025, the National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC) launched a three-day roadshow (January 6 to 8, 2024) in the UAE to strengthen industrial partnerships and attract investments for India’s smart cities.

• The initiative promotes investment in India’s Greenfield Industrial Smart Cities under the National Industrial Corridor Development Programme (NICDP).
• NICDP has allotted 370 plots over 1,477 acres, attracting investments worth ₹1.70 lakh crore ($20.48 billion), with operational units like Hyosung and Haier.
• Infrastructure progress is evident in cities like Dholera (Gujarat) and Shendra-Bidkin (Maharashtra), with 12 additional industrial cities approved across India.
