Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Awards 2025 Announced

The Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Awards 2025 will honour outstanding contributions of NRIs, PIOs, and their organizations during the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
- The Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award (PBSA) is the highest honour given to overseas Indians for their achievements in India and abroad.
- The awards will be presented during the Valedictory Session of the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention from January 8 to January 10, 2025.
- The Honourable President of India will confer the awards in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
- A Jury-cum-Awards Committee, chaired by the Vice-President of India, reviewed and selected the recipients unanimously.
- The awardees represent excellence across diverse fields such as community service, education, science, medicine, business, and public affairs.
- Notable awardees include Prof. Ajay Rane (Australia) for community service, Dr. Marialena Joan Fernandes (Austria) for education, and Dr. Philomena Ann Mohini Harris (Barbados) for medical science.
- Some Other recipients include Swami Sanyuktanand (Fiji), Saraswati Vidya Niketan (Guyana), Dr. Lekh Raj Juneja (Japan), Soukthavy Chowdhury (Laos), and Hindustani Samaj (Russia).
