Australia Wins Border-Gavaskar Trophy

On 5th January 2025, Australia secured a 3-1 series win against India, reclaiming the Border-Gavaskar Trophy with a six-wicket victory in the fifth test.

Australia chased down 162 runs on the third day, with Travis Head and debutant Beau Webster sealing the win with an unbeaten 58-run partnership.
The victory secured Australia a spot in the World Test Championship final against South Africa at Lord’s in June.
Skipper Pat Cummins praised the team's performance, calling the series "amazing" and expressing pride in the squad.
