Ayodhya Ram Temple Project Wins Sword of Honour

On 15th December 2024, the Ram temple project in Ayodhya received the prestigious ‘Sword of Honour’ award from the British Safety Council for its exemplary safety management practices.
- The ‘Sword of Honour’ is awarded after rigorous audits and on-site assessments by the British Safety Council, with eligibility requiring a five-star safety rating.
- The construction company, Larsen & Toubro, had earlier won the ‘Golden Trophy’ from the National Safety Council for implementing top-tier safety measures during the temple’s construction.
- The first and second floors of the temple, along with the Shikhar (temple top), are nearing completion, with a target date set for June 2025.
- Marble statues depicting Shri Ram Darbar and key sages from Indian mythology are scheduled to be completed by January 2025, contributing to the temple’s rich architectural and cultural significance.
