Madhya Pradesh Government Launches Welfare Campaigns

On 11th December, 2024, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister inaugurated the ‘Jan Kalyan Parv’ and ‘Mukhya Mantri Jan Kalyan Abhiyan’ to mark the completion of his government’s first year, aiming to connect citizens to welfare schemes.

  • The ‘Jan Kalyan Parv’ will run from December 11 to December 26, while the ‘Mukhya Mantri Jan Kalyan Abhiyan’ will continue until January 26, 2025.
  • These initiatives focus on showcasing the government’s developmental works and increasing public participation in welfare schemes.
  • A door-to-door survey will be conducted under the Abhiyan to ensure benefits from 34 beneficiary-oriented schemes, 11 target-based schemes, and 63 services reach the poor, youth, farmers, and women.
  • At the Gita Mahotsav, the MP’s CM celebrated Madhya Pradesh's Guinness World Record for the simultaneous recitation of the Gita by more than 7,000 participants, including 3,721 Acharyas.
