On 12th December, 2024, the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities inaugurated the 22nd Divya Kala Mela at India Gate, celebrating the talent and entrepreneurial spirit of Divyangjan.

• The 11-day event, organized by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, will run daily from 11 AM to 9 PM until December 22, 2024.
• The Mela aims to highlight the abilities, determination, and contributions of Divyangjan in various fields.
• More than 100 Divyang artisans, entrepreneurs, and artists from across India are participating to showcase their creativity and skills.
• Visitors will experience a range of products and performances, demonstrating the diverse talents of differently-abled individuals.
• The event serves as a platform for empowering Divyangjan through greater visibility, networking, and business opportunities.
